Sharjah 24: The Sharjah men's handball team achieved its third successive victory in the 26th Asian Champions League Club Championship, after defeating the Indian Sai team 51-20, in the meeting that brought the two teams together, on Monday, at the Al Qadsia Club hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex as part of the third round of the second group of the competition, which runs from November 17 to 26 in Kuwait, with the participation of 11 clubs.
Sharjah international player Saif Al Ansari won the Best Player of the Match award.
With this result, Sharjah reaches the sixth point with the full mark at the top of the group, which it harvested by winning 30-28 in the inaugural match over Kuwaiti Al Qadsia, then the 35-16 victory over the Al-Jaish SC (Iraq) team. Sharjah will meet Shabab Saida (Lebanon), tomorrow, Tuesday at 1PM, followed by a rest day for all teams, and the UAE champion will resume the group matches by facing Al-Arabi SC (Qatar), next Thursday at 5PM in the fifth and final round.
