Sharjah 24: The Asian Handball Federation announced the schedule of the 26th Asian Champions Club Handball Championship, held in Kuwait from November 17 to 27, with the participation of 12 clubs, including Sharjah Club, representing the UAE, as it is the champion of the last edition of the league competition.
The Sharjah team is in the second group, which includes Kuwaiti Al Qadisiyah, Qatari Al Arabi, the Iraqi Al Jaish, Shabab Sidon of Lebanon, and Indian Sai, while the first group includes Al Najma of Bahrain (champion of the last edition), Al Kuwait of Kuwait, Al Gharafa of Qatar, and Al Khaleej of Saudi Arabia, Palestinian Salah, and the Indian Golden Eagle.
The Sharjah Club will start the event by facing Al Qadisiyah of Kuwait, followed by the Iraqi Al Jaish, the Indian Sai, Shabab Sidon, then Al Arabi of Qatar, on the 17th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, and 24th of next November, respectively.
The Sharjah team is currently competing in the Emirates Cup before competing in the Asian Cup, seeking to maintain its title, as it meets the Al Ain team next Friday, then Mleiha with the conclusion of the preliminary round matches of the event.
