Coinciding with World Falconry Day, Kalba Bird of Prey Centre, affiliated with EPAA, organised a Falconry Day event with the participation of a number of departments and falcon breeders.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Al Kaabi, said that Kalba Bird of Prey Centre organised the event for the fourth year in a row, given the environmental and heritage value of falcons in the country.
She explained that the event included a live bird show and a panel discussion with the participation of specialists, and in the presence of several citizens, representatives of government departments and institutions, and those interested in birds of prey.
The center also organised a photographic exhibition, and a tour for guests through the centre’s corridors, to introduce its role in preserving the wild environment, preserving birds, and providing the optimal climate for their reproduction.
