Sharjah24: During the second Global Media Congress, which took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from November 14–16, 2023, Pedro Hartung, Executive Director of Alana Foundation and Lawyer for Children's and Human Rights, spoke with "Sharjah 24."
Hartung said, "It was wonderful to address the significance of involving the voices of young people in the climate debate and talks. I believe it is crucial to listen to and involve them, especially considering that they constitute no less than 75% of the world's population.
"Therefore, children and young people must provide their insights and experiences. Central to the climate change argument are the facts and the answers they offer. Let's encourage each child and youth to participate in the next COP 28 discussion. Also, let us create a COP for children.
