Sharjah 24 – WAM: The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Thursday that it is continuing its strikes against Iran in response to attacks targeting commercial vessels near the Strait of Hormuz.

CENTCOM said in a statement that the strikes, now being carried out for a fifth consecutive night, are aimed at degrading Iran’s military abilities to target commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
