Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) recently held a workshop at the Sharjah Chess Club focused on promoting sports culture for individuals with disabilities. This initiative is part of the Council's efforts to support and motivate disabled players, aiming to help them achieve remarkable sports accomplishments. The workshop witnessed the participation of players from the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, aiming to instill confidence in these individuals, boosting their skills.

High-ranking officials and sports leaders attended the workshop, including His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, the chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council . 

Issa Hilal Al Hazami praised the impressive achievements of the players of Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled and Al Thiqah Club for Disabled, highlighting the emirate's pride in the ongoing advancements made in disabled sports, in line with the unwavering support and dedication of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

The attendees discussed the positive effects of educational workshops and psychological factors that inspire players to continue competing in tournaments.
