Sharjah 24: The teams of Sharjah Social Services (SSSD) and Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) achieved their first victory in the second group competitions of 26th Government Departments and Institutions Football Championship, organised by Sharjah Government Employees Club, in partnership with the Al Thiqah Club for Disabled and under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council.

In the first match of the fourth group, SSSD achieved a well-deserved victory over the Amiri Guard Administration, where it succeeded in converting its two-goal loss, in the first half, into an expensive and well-deserved victory in the second half, as a result of five goals to three, and SSSD team took the lead in the first group.

Within the framework of the same group competitions, SSC team achieved a deserved victory over the Sharjah Cooperative Society team, as both teams played a good match SSC goals were scored by players Fares Tamer (two goals), and Muhammad Abdel Nabi (one goal); while Sharjah Cooperative Society’s goals were scored by Muhammad Al Qaroun and Rashid Muhammad. 

Ahmed Ibrahim, coach of SSC team, expressed his happiness with the distinguished team players’ performance during the match and achieving the first victory, which will have a positive impact during the competitions.  Ahmed Ibrahim stressed that all the players have the determination to reach the final match, thanking the Executive Committee of Sharjah Government Employees Club for organising such events, which enhance rapprochement and communication between employees.
