The tournament was held at the Mubadala Arena, with the participation of 7,000 contender from 127 countries.
The Sharjah team snatched first place on the tournament's first day, followed by winning first place in the junior division championship, with 114 medals.
This achievement led to the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club secured its position in the world rankings for jiu-jitsu in the junior age group, which the club's been dominating for nearly two years, making the club the best Emirati club at the junior level and the best club in Sharjah.
Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Owais, Chairman of the Club, confirmed that the board is keen to achieve the highest levels of excellence in all tournaments and will seek to study the team's strengths to enhance them.
