The registration period for candidates for the Sharjah Consultative Council elections, which lasted for 3 days, has ended in the approved registration centers in the emirate’s municipalities.
The Chairman of the Election Management Committee of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, praised the large turnout of citizens to nominate themselves for the elections, as a large number of holders of advanced degrees and experience in various fields came forward to submit their papers in the registration centers in the various cities and regions of the emirate, which are 9 municipal centers including : Sharjah City, Al Hamriyah, Al Dhaid, Mleiha, Al Madam, Al Bataeh, Dibba Al Hisn City, Kalba City, and Khorfakkan City.
Al Jarwan explained, in statements to “Sharjah 24”, that the Supreme Committee did not receive any complaints from the candidates during the registration process, and the duration of registering the candidate’s papers did not exceed more than 5 minutes, affirming that the final list of candidates will be announced on November 13, and the registration period for electoral bodies will continue until the 20th of this month.
