Sharjah24: Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” succeeded in passing the procedures of the periodic follow-up visit to the to the of Quality Management System in the field of customer service, which included ISO certificate 10001:2018 of customer service charter, ISO 10002: 2018 certificate for complaints handling system, and ISO 10004: 2018 certificate for customer satisfaction monitoring and measurement system. Such thing confirms the success of SEDD’s policy aimed at developing and improving its internal operations, depending on the highest international quality standards in various works and fields. Thus, the granting company recommended continuing to grant the ISO certificate according to the scope of application after passing the audit stage on all its work procedures, and ensuring that all conditions and requirements of the quality systems are met in its various departments, according to the report issued by the resident company, and the audit results that showed the SEDD’s full commitment to the requirements.
Commenting on that, Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, SEDD Chairman, affirmed that the recommendation of the granting company of ISO certificates to continue granting them clearly reflects the Department’s commitment to applying international standards in quality management, and its ability to provide high-level services that meet the requirements and expectations of its customers and achieve their happiness and satisfaction. HE added that such achievements also come as a result of the tireless and continuous efforts of the Department’s employees to reach the highest qualities in services and customers satisfaction rates. Additionally, Al Mahmoud pointed out that these important achievements place SEDD in constant competition with itself in its continuous endeavor to achieve the aspirations of its customers. 
From his side, Hamad Al Midfa, Acting Director of Strategic Planning and Performance Department at SEDD, illustrated that the Department’s success in renewing ISO certificates reflects the its application of the best international standards in terms of providing service to customers in accordance with the Customer Service Charter. He carried on that such thing also represents the continuous efforts placed by the Strategic Planning team to improve plans and strategies thus to develop services and adopt the best practices as well as quality systems and organizational excellence.
