Sharjah24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi - Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police - received His Excellency Hamid Al Zaabi - Director General of the Executive Office to Combat Money Laundering (EOCML) and Terrorist Financing and his accompanying delegation, including, Mohammed Shaloh - Director of the Strategic Partnerships and Communication Department and Mohammed Al Kathiri, Head of the National Coordination and Follow-up Department , Fawzia Al Ali , Head of the National Risk Department and Mohammed Al-Ahmad , Senior Executive of Strategic Companies.
 The visit came with the aim of enhancing ways of joint cooperation between the two parties in the field of combating money laundering.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer,  Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Brigadier Ibrahim Al-Ajel - Deputy Director of the General Department of Police Operations, Brigadier Omar Abu Al-Zawd - Director of the Criminal Investigation and Investigation Department, and Brigadier Yousef bin Harmoul - Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department in Sharjah. Colonel Majid Al-Assam - Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department at Sharjah Police - and Colonel Dr. Muqarrab Khalifa Al-Muqarrab - Deputy Director of the Preventive Security Department.

Major General Al Shamsi welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing the keenness to extend frameworks of cooperation and coordination with various government agencies and institutions in the country and develop their operations, praising the efforts of the Executive Office to confront money laundering through targeted visits that enhance concerted efforts in confronting and reducing money laundering crimes, and achieve quality of life for society. .

The meeting discussed a number of topics aimed at strengthening security work efforts in society in order to achieve the desired goals of both parties, such as exchanging knowledge and experiences, and coordinating to prepare training courses and workshops to qualify police cadres and develop them in the field of money laundering crimes.
