The competition encompasses four main themes: Sports Sustainability and its Societal Impact, Identification and Development of Sports Talents, Empowering Young Sports Leaders, Efficient Management of Electricity and Water, and Environmental Preservation, as well as Climate Change and its Ecological Consequences.
Substantial monetary rewards will be granted to the top three achievers, with the first-place recipient receiving 1,000 dirhams, the second-place winner 800 dirhams, and the third-place honoree 500 dirhams.
Engineer Ali Al Mhairi, a board member of Al Hamriyah Club and the chair of the Cultural and Community Committee, highlighted the club's firm commitment to actively participate in the Sharjah Sustainability Sports Council Prize, aligning with the UAE's declaration of this year as the "Year of Sustainability”.
Furthermore, Dr. Sultan Al Shamsi, the Quality and Excellence Advisor at Al Hamriyah Club, underscored that the competition's objectives reach beyond recognising the winners; they strive to cultivate a sense of environmental responsibility and the preservation of resources for the benefit of future generations.
