Al Hamriyah Club discusses Sharjah Ruler’s directives

Sharjah 24: The Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club held, Monday, its third monthly meeting, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Humaid Al Shamsi, in the presence of most members and the club’s Executive Director.
The meeting discussed the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, regarding increasing the number of citizens in clubs. The meeting discussed developing plans and programmes taking into account the directives of His Highness, in providing support, care, and attention to embrace the UAE people.

The members of the Board of Directors noted the successful organisation of the Sports Sustainability Forum, which was a sporting and community event that confirmed the club’s serious involvement in the Sharjah Sports Council goal to achieve sustainability, and to enhance the sense of responsibility around the concept of sustainability and its importance in all aspects of life.

The meeting reviewed the outcomes of the training camp of the first team in Serbia, which reflects positively on the team’s preparations for the new sports season, as well as developing recommendations for improving the club’s football academy.

Al Hamriyah Club Board of Directors meeting also reviewed the media committee’s updates on the club’s visual identity, in addition to developments from the institutional development team and the transportation sector.

The meeting concluded by praising the club’s champions Hamad Al Shehhi for winning the gold medal in the Tunisian Swimming Championship, and Sultan Al Owais, for winning the gold medal in the Oman Sailing Championship, while emphasising that the rest of the athletes in all the club’s teams should continue the hard work to achieve more success.
