Sharjah 24: In the presence of Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, the club partnered with Dubai Camel Hospital to host a discussion session regarding the diagnosis of camel diseases and fractures.
During the event, which took place as part of the Asayel Exhibition 2023 at the Expo Center in Al Dhaid, Dr. Ihsan Al Haq, the Head of the Pharmacy and Laboratory Department, and Dr. Matthew De Pont, the Head of the Surgery Department, delivered talks on various aspects. The topics covered the influence of modern veterinary practices on camel treatment, the repair of camel fractures, expectations regarding camel fracture cases, and methods for diagnosing and treating camel diseases.
Al Katbi underscored that the importance of the session in educating camel owners about contemporary veterinary treatments for camels, offering insights into fracture cases at all stages and their types, along with their associated risks. Moreover, informative brochures on fracture risks and diseases affecting camels, as well as treatment approaches, were distributed during the session.
