Aisha Rashid Al Hossan, Director of the Arabian Heritage Centre of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, announced the participation of nearly 50 countries in the regional workshop “Introduction to the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage 2003... Strengthening the Network of Facilitators in the Arab and African Regions for Training of Trainers,” which runs until 15th of September.
Al Hossan explained to “Sharjah 24” that the workshop will be divided between practical and theoretical training, as the institute organises field visits for practitioners and participating groups, to the elements that have been registered on the UNESCO lists.
