Aisha Obaid Ghabish, Director of Events and Activities at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, emphasised the significance of Emirati Women's Day as a chance to highlight women's achievements in numerous professions while maintaining their tradition and identity. She emphasised that, with the assistance of visionary leadership, women have shown themselves to be active contributors to society and a source of pride both regionally and internationally.
Dr Khawla Abdul Rahman Al Mulla thanked the Sharjah Institute for Heritage for the invitation and sent her best wishes to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Her Highness the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikha Jawaher bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah. She emphasised that this festival recognises women's accomplishments and encourages them to maintain their success and positively contribute to society.
Sheikha Al Jabri emphasised the UAE's ongoing support and leadership for Emirati women since the country's inception. She viewed the subject "Sharing for Tomorrow" as a call for women to be more involved in development efforts, to promote sustainability, and to share the duty of raising strong and inspirational families. She lauded Emirati women as precious assets who contribute considerably to the country's prosperity and reputation.
The event, which featured a variety of interesting activities, was planned for female employees of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage. These featured Emirates Crafts Centre exhibitions, fascinating musical performances on the qanun instrument by Maryam Al Shaloubi, and an artistic presentation by visual artist Maryam Al Khayyal. The programme sought to recognise Emirati women's achievements and duties while also instilling a sense of solidarity and shared responsibility among them.
