In his speech at the event, Jani thanked Al Hamriyah Club for its distinguished initiatives, noting the efforts of the club’s board of directors in creating a sustainable sports forum of this size, especially since it coincides with the “Year of Sustainability” in the country.
The chairman of the Al Hamriyah Club welcomed the attendees, thanking the Sharjah Sports Council for the continued cooperation and support for the emirate’s clubs. He also announced the launch of the “Ethics and Professional Conduct” Charter for the Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club.
Experts at the forum’s sessions, which were moderated by the journalist at the Sharjah Broadcasting Corporation, Mohammed Ramadan, touched on sustainable sports planning, role of community sports in building a sustainable sports society, and the importance of community and cultural participation in raising sporting level.
The closing session stressed the need to instilling the name of the United Arab Emirates in the mind of every athlete who represents the country, because of the humane and ethical values he upholds so that sport can be an effective contributor to raising these values in a positive way.
Speakers and participants in the forum were honoured, in addition to thanking the organising committee and the volunteer team for their efforts to produce the Sports Sustainability Forum in the best possible way.
