Sharjah 24: The Social Aid Department in the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) organised entertainment programmes for people with disabilities and their families. The aim was to improve their quality of life and provide an entertainment environment that enhances social welfare and ensures a decent life for social security beneficiaries.
The event included 18 diverse programmes of entertainment, educational, and professional activities that benefited 164 people. The programme included visits to several places, in addition to distributing gifts and organising handicraft workshops for people with disabilities.
The events attracted 89 people who benefited from these distinctive activities. A special sports programme was also implemented for them at Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled and Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, with the participation of 22 beneficiaries, and the sports activities included a set of exercises that contribute to enhancing their physical fitness and health.
