Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) represented by Dar Al Aman, organised a "Back to School" celebration held in the Wasit suburb.
Fatima Ismail, the director of Dar Al Aman, stated that the celebration comes within the framework of the department's continuous efforts to enhance communication with needy families.
It is also part of their diverse contributions to social responsibility, focusing on creating positive change in society.
Additionally, it falls within the celebration of students' return to schools, marking the end of the summer break and preparing for the new academic year 2022-2023, wishing them ongoing success and achievement in their educational journey.
The celebration continued throughout the morning in the Wasit suburb and featured various distinctive cultural, entertainment, and health activities aimed at delighting children and their families. Experts and specialists from the department provided social consultations to a number of participating families.
Children participated in a medical examination corner for dental check-ups, as well as various other tests for vital signs and body mass, presented to both children and families. The celebration also included providing tips for proper school nutrition from experts.
At the conclusion of the event, school bags and gifts were distributed to the children and families.
