Sharjah 24: On the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club launched Sharjah ladies diving team, which will represent the club in all its upcoming local and international events.
Israa Ahmed Al Hosani, a member of Sharjah ladies diving team, expressed her happiness and pride in being part of the team, and thanked the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club for forming the first of its kind team in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Al Hosani added that the diving world is big and includes many fields, noting that the team includes professional divers, underwater photographers, paramedics, and others interested in preserving the environment, such as cleaning beaches and planting coral.
Reem Al Mahri, a member of the team, said that she is proud of the Emirate of Sharjah and how it celebrates women by launching this team, hoping that the team will achieve its goals and have a positive role in society.
Khawla Al Shehhi, a member of the team, confirmed that her presence with her colleagues will be an addition to the process of raising awareness and preserving the environment.
Rayan Al Saleh also expressed her pride in her participation in the activities of the first specialised volunteer women's team at the level of Sharjah, wishing success for all.
