Sharjah24: As an implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, may God protect him, and under the support of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah’s Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler, and Vice Chairman of the Executive Council, Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) has announced the launch of a new magazine specialized in the real estate affairs and titled: “Sharjah Real Estate”. Since its first issue, the magazine has highlighted and discussed all real estate sector affairs in the Emirate and the UAE, in addition to the latest global developments related to the real estate sector.
In line with the continuous efforts of SRERD to support and develop this pivotal sector of the economy in the Emirate and the country, the magazine is set to display the best practices in the real estate sector, and to shed light on the latest technologies in this field.
Moreover, the magazine contains various sections focusing on activities and events related to the real estate affairs in the emirate, while sharing the best real estate practices in order to achieve sustainable development in this field, and to achieve the aspirations of the Department in building a modern, interconnected, and integrated real estate community with a clear futuristic vision.
In addition, in its first issue, the magazine included a number of important titles that discussed various aspects related to the sector, such as a report on the "Ajwan Project", which is an ambitious project that combines the experience of housing and enjoying the atmosphere of adventure. Another report that is no less important is about the Sustainable City of Sharjah and its endeavour to provide housing solutions compatible with future needs, and a third report on the Al Zahia project as a distinguished real estate landmark in the Emirate.
Moreover, Counsellor Dr. Mansour Mohammed Bin Nassar, Legal Advisor and Head of the Legal Department of the Government of Sharjah, wrote a distinguished article under the title "Sharjah and the Real Estate Sector", in which he focused on the importance of this vital sector to the emirate's economy. In addition, Counsellor Hamid Al-Abbar, Advisor to Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, wrote an article on "Brokers…. An Interface for Real Estate Investment" in which he addressed the importance of the brokers’ role in revitalizing the real estate market in the Emirate.
Furthermore, the latest technologies provided by the Fourth Industrial Revolution were included, while discussing their impact on the development of the real estate sector. As an example, Salwa Salem Al-Mahri, Director of Information Technology Department in SRERD, wrote an important article on "How did artificial intelligence contribute to achieving a competitive advantage for real estate companies". Moreover, another important topic related to the latest developments in the real estate sector in the digital era is discussed through a specialized report entitled "How to become a virtual real estate investor in the world of metaverse".
Moreover, Jumana Sulaiman Al Matrooshi, Deputy Head of Public Relations Department in SRERD, wrote an important article on the huge investment incentives offered by Sharjah to the real estate investors.
Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, said in an opening speech to the magazine: "The launch of the first issue of the specialized “Sharjah Real Estate” Magazine by the Department is a continuation of the series of magazines through which Sharjah discusses various aspects of life, and raises the level of awareness about important issues. Therefore, we hope that this magazine will become an important reference and a real addition to the world of specialized real estate journalism.”
Al-Shamsi also indicated in the editorial that: "what distinguishes this magazine is that it seeks, through its interactive issues, specialized studies, news, and information from reliable sources, and dialogues with decision-makers concerned with real estate affairs, to employ technology in order to convey the most important real estate innovations regionally, locally, and globally directly from decision makers to the reader.
Moreover, also explained that the magazine "works as a window for real estate news, and seeks to spread real estate culture in Sharjah, the other Emirates, and all Arabic countries, through its topics, which are written by specialists who enrich readers about many real estate fields, such as monitoring and analysing the real estate market, identifying investment opportunities, and understanding the flexible legislative environment which stimulates investment in the United Arab Emirates in general, and Sharjah in particular”.
Finally, Al Shamsi concluded his editorial for the first issue of the magazine saying: "We hope that our launch of this magazine will be a first step forward which will be followed by more steps in the field of real estate awareness and knowledge dissemination."
