Al Shamsi confirmed that the Sharjah real estate sector experienced remarkable growth in 2024, with a 48% increase in transactions compared to 2023. The number of transactions reached 105,000, including 24,000 sales transactions, marking the highest trading volume in the emirate since 2008.
He added in an interview with "Sharjah 24" that this significant growth reflects the increasing demand from investors of various nationalities for real estate across different categories, taking advantage of Sharjah's attractive investment environment and stable economic climate. The sector successfully attracted investors from 120 nationalities worldwide.
Al Shamsi also pointed out the launch of the ACRES Real Estate Exhibition, which has seen strong participation from local and international developers. He urged investors, developers, and real estate professionals to visit the exhibition to explore the available investment opportunities. Additionally, the Executive Council, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a 50% reduction in real estate registration fees for transactions finalised at the ACRES exhibition.
