ACRES 2025 to offer 50% reduction in buying and selling fees

Sharjah24: His Excellency Abdul Aziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, has announced that the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition – ACRES is scheduled to occur from January 22 to 25 at Expo Sharjah. This year’s event builds on the successful initiative introduced in ACRES 2024, offering a 50% reduction in sale and purchase fees to boost real estate investment in the emirate.

Commenting on this, His Excellency Abdul Aziz Rashid Al Saleh highlighted the Exhibition’s importance, stating, " ACRES has become one of the leading real estate events in the region and an integral part of our strategy to support the real estate sector in Sharjah. Guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the exhibition enhances Sharjah's position as a prime destination for sustainable real estate investment."

The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and is organised by the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by the Real Estate Sector Working Group Committee.

Sharjah’s real estate sector achieves record growth

Al Saleh emphasised the outstanding progress of Sharjah’s real estate sector in 2024, reporting an amazing AED 28 billion in transactions within the first nine months, exceeding the total of AED 27 billion recorded for the entirety of 2023.

His Excellency commended the wise leadership’s continued support for the real estate sector, highlighting the transformative impact of the initiative to reduce sale and purchase fees by 50% in ACRES 2024 and ACRES 2025. This significant measure has played a key role in stimulating real estate investment in the emirate, creating more opportunities for both investors and developers.

The Real Estate Registration Department will have a dedicated platform at the exhibition to offer comprehensive services to clients, ensuring seamless and efficient transaction processing. This effort aims to simplify the real estate process, enhancing transparency and making it more accessible to all investors.
