Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) has introduced a series of hands-on workshops and courses in small project management, benefiting 67 guardians and their dependents. The goal is to equip participants with professional skills and inspire them to initiate their personal projects.
These workshops assist attendees in project selection, inspire them to turn their ideas into successful ventures, educate them about planning and executing projects, and highlight crucial entrepreneurial skills for success. Successful entrepreneurship models are also showcased to ignite their enthusiasm.

According to Nawal Al Hamadi, the Director of the Social Prosperity Department, the core mission of the foundation is to guide its members comprehensively towards empowerment. This involves preparing the path for our children to emerge as leaders armed with the necessary knowledge and skills, enabling them to self-sufficiently shape a better future for themselves. Given the challenges widows face and the crucial aspect of ensuring a dignified life for families, the imperative to provide professional empowerment is of utmost significance. It's essential to work towards furnishing them with the tools for success and providing support to launch their individual projects, thereby transforming orphaned children and guardians from service recipients into empowered contributors.

The foundation focuses on professional empowerment, offering tools for success and assistance in starting ventures. Entrepreneurs Huda Ali Al Zaabi and Maryam Suhail Al Khaili led the workshop titled "How to Start Your Project," sharing their inspiring journey of managing three companies in their early twenties. Their goal is to empower and encourage 1000 individuals annually to initiate their own projects and generate additional income.
