Sharjah24: His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Kalba affirmed the keenness of the wise leadership and the country’s institutions to empower youth in various fields, emphasising that they are the pillar of the present and the future.
The Municipal Council of Kalba on Thursday organised a dialogue session on the occasion of International Youth Day, in the building of the external departments of the Municipality, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Kalba, and a crowd of officials and employees of the council and the municipality.
In his statements to “Sharjah24”, Al Zaabi stressed that the session aimed to shed light on the general capabilities of youth, underscoring ways to qualify young leaders in various fields.
He continued by saying that the necessity of empowering a new generation of young leaders, as well as the role of youth in communication and their efficacy within institutions, were some of the major subjects covered in the session.
He stressed that the country as a whole and the Emirate of Sharjah in particular, are dedicated to empowering youth through an integrated strategy that starts with keeping up with the most recent advancements in the educational sector resulting from the Fourth Industrial Revolution, relying on the artificial intelligence, space exploration, and precision industries to other areas that foresee the future, to supply the labour market with new specialisations that match the future.
