SDVA brings down the curtain on Kalba Suburbs Ramadan tournament

Sharjah24: Sharjah District and Villages Affairs Department (SDVA) marked the end of the first Ramadan football tournament for the Suhaila and Khor Kalba suburb councils.

The tournament lasted for 10 days, in which 8 teams participated.

Rashed Al Kindi, Chairman of the Suhaila Suburb Council in Kalba, confirmed that the first Ramadan tournament for the Suhaila and Khor Kalba suburbs councils, achieved remarkable success in terms of its sporting and societal goals.

The final match was between Kalba Municipality team and “Amora” team of Kalba Sports Club, in which the latter won 7 to 4.

Al Kindi, in his statements to “Sharjah 24”, said that the first edition of the tournament managed to promote social cohesion and entertain the crowd in an enjoyable “sport-ish” atmosphere.
