Al Qaseer: LSDA raises labourers’ awareness of heat exhaustion

Sharjah 24: Salem Yousef Al Qaseer, Chairman of the Labour Standards Development Authority in Sharjah (LSDA), affirmed the authority’s keenness to provide an attractive environment for workers and to adopt initiatives that contribute to creating a suitable environment, including the “Prevention of Heat Exhaustion and Diseases” campaign.
Dubbed "Your Safety is Our Goal", the campaign was launched at Expo Centre Sharjah in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Health Promotion Department of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
Al Qaseer explained to "Sharjah 24" that the campaign included awareness workshops to introduce workers to how to prevent the danger of heat exhaustion and conduct medical examinations.
Workers were given presents at the end of the campaign.
