In order to achieve the highest levels of traffic safety, Colonel Mohammad Abdullah Allay, Director of the Traffic Services and Driving Licensing Center, confirmed that the campaign educates drivers on the necessity of pre-renewing periodic vehicle inspection, for safety purposes and fine reduction.
The campaign revealed the number of vehicles renewed since its launch until July 25, amounting to 23,881 vehicles, and the number of vehicles with expired licenses seized from June 15 to July 25, amounting to 2,650 vehicles.
The Sharjah Police has provided several ways for vehicle renewal, including the smart application of the Ministry of Interior “moi”, and “Sahl” devices that are deployed in police stations and service centers in the emirate, as well as other cooperating centers.
