ATI supports Benghazi Theatre Festival

Sharjah 24: The Benghazi Theatre Festival will be launched, in the city of Benghazi, from 6 to 12 August (artist Faraj Tira), organised by the Folk Theatre Troup.
The Arab Theatre Institute (ATI) is present, in the festival, through three theatre training workshops (from 2 to 11 August). 

The Institute has commissioned three Arab playwrights to supervise the workshops, where the Iraqi artist Dr. Ali Al Sudani holds a workshop (scenography in theatrical performance, concept and work); the Tunisian writer Bukathir Doma supervises the dramaturgy workshop; and the Tunisian artist Assem Beltohamy supervises a workshop on the art of acting.

The Arab Theatre Institute organises an exhibition of its publications, within the activities of the festival.

The Secretary-General of the Arab Theatre Institute is represented in the Benghazi Theatre Festival by Ali Al Falah, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute, and actress Rima Al Ghoussein will also attend the fesival.

Ismail Abdullah, Secretary-General of the Arab Theatre Institute, stated on this occasion, that the institute participation in the festival through three workshops, a book fair and representatives reflects the institute appreciation and respect for all the noble efforts made by the Libyan playwrights in this festival and other festivals.
