Sharjah 24: Secretary-General of the Arab theatre Institute Ismail Abdullah was welcomed to Kuwait by the Minister of Information and Culture (MOIC), Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Head of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature in Kuwait, Abdulrahman Al Mutairi, on the occasion of his visit to Kuwait and attending the 22nd Kuwait Theatre Festival.
Al Mutairi praised His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highness’s work to enhance Arab culture and theatre.
After congratulating the Minister on the 22nd edition of the Kuwait Theatre Festival, the Arab Theatre Institute Secretary-General highlighted the various ways in which the Arab Theatre Institute and Kuwait have effectively collaborated. The eighth Arab Theatre Festival, which took place in 2016, is one of the best examples.
