Sharjah 24: Amna Al Hammadi, Director of the Professional Support Programme at the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), affirmed the department's keenness to provide means of support for social security beneficiaries, through the employment fairs it organises in cooperation with the private sector.
The Professional Support Programme of the SSSD organised, on Tuesday, the first edition of the 'Forsa Employment Exhibition' in the city of Khorfakkan, to provide support for social security beneficiaries.
Al Hammadi told "Sharjah 24", that the exhibition is the third for the department, and the first of its kind in Khorfakkan, and aims to provide job opportunities with immediate contracts for beneficiaries of social security, as part of the work empowerment initiative.
She added that 7 companies from the private sector institutions participated in the exhibition, including institutions in the medical, educational, hotel, tourism and real estate fields.
She maintained that the exhibition attracted a number of social security beneficiaries under the age of 45, noting that the exhibition highlights the concerted efforts between government and private sector institutions, to provide job opportunities for male and female citizens.
