The service is provided by every specialist who holds the status of "judicial police," which authorises the specialist to intervene to prevent child abuse and to report any behavior that may harm the child at any place or time.
Khaled Al Kathiri, an assistant expert for the helpline at the Child and Family Protection Center, explained that the service is a proactive service that means (before the incident occurs) spreading awareness while promoting the service to healthcare institutions in Sharjah.
