Sharjah24: The 5th edition of the “Ithmaar” Media Training Programme for children and young adults, organised by the Sharjah Press Club of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, had an outstanding launch in its first week, from 10 to 13 July, covering topics that focus on creating content, starting from traditional and new media to the artificial intelligence journalism in the future.
In the first two days, the club held a training session at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) in cooperation with CNN Arabic, as they were devoted to presenting a general introduction workshop on journalism and artificial intelligence journalism, given by the media trainer Samia Ayesh.

The Participants, aged 10 to 17, actively interacted with the trainer, who explained journalism’s transformations in the dawn of artificial intelligence. They were briefed on the uses of AI in press institutions and its role in enhancing media content.

The third day of the training, at Al Qasimia University, focused on a workshop given by the "Dubai Post", affiliated with Dubai Media Incorporated, where it dealt with the concept of full awareness of dealing with various media outlets, confronting rumors and stopping their rapid spread, especially in light of social media.

On Thursday, July 13, the participants had a tour of "CNN Arabic", "Al-Arabiya", and "Al-Hadath" channels to learn from their experiences in journalism.
