Sharjah 24: Asma Al Juwaied, Manager of the Sharjah Press Club (SPC) of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), announced the selection of 25 students in the fifth edition of the annual media-training programme, Ithmar, for children and youth.
She maintained that the selection of students came after personal interviews to ascertain the students' interest in the programme. During the training with CNN Arabic, on Tuesday, the theme of journalism in artificial intelligence was presented, in addition to discussing several other themes during the coming weeks.
She added, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the training deals with various types of journalism with regard to news and creative content, as well as social media, noting that several field visits will be organised to media institutions, namely: CNN Arabic and Al Arabiya channel, Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, and Dubai TV, to get acquainted with the media environment closely and the mechanism of work in it.
