Engineer Abdullah Al Shamsi, Director of the Sharjah Livestock Market, explained to "Sharjah 24" that the Sharjah Police will organise traffic inside and outside the market, and the Sharjah Municipality will provide vets to examine the adhahi before and after slaughter to ensure their safety, and SANED will contribute to providing a team for hygiene, maintenance and public security inside the market.
He added that two tracks have been allocated for customers coming from outside the market, where the first track is intended for customers having the adhahi and are lined up for payment for slaughter, while the second track is allocated for those who want to buy adhahi from the market. Delivery of adhahi meat service to homes is made in cooperation with Buraq Delivery Services Company.
Slaughter prices for sheep amount to 15 dirhams, and for small cows 35 dirhams, medium size cows 40 dirhams, and large size cows 70 dirhams. The cows will also be received on the first Eid day after 12 noon.
