SCC Committee prepares recommendations to support MAD’s policy

Sharjah24: During its meeting on Tuesday morning at Sharjah Consultative Council's headquarters, the Committee for Preparing the Draught Recommendations of the Consultative Council prepared the recommendations to be presented to the Council during its upcoming session to discuss the policy of the Municipal Affairs Department (MAD) in the Emirate of Sharjah.
In the fifteenth plenary session of the fourth regular session of the tenth legislative term, the committee examined the different issues brought up by the council members during the discussion of the policy of the department and the nine municipalities of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Ibrahim Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Committee, besides members including His Excellency Muhammad Ali Muhammad Al Naqbi, Rapporteur of the Committee, His Excellency Muhammad Hamad Al Zaabi, His Excellency Ahmed Salem Saif Ghanem Al Zaabi, His Excellency Ali Saeed bin Sharara Al Ketbi, His Excellency Muhammad Abdullah bin Shumail Al Ketbi, and from the General Secretariat of the Council Abdulaziz bin Khadim, Deputy Director Parliamentary Affairs Department and Islam Al-Shewy, media expert.

During its meeting, the committee formulated a number of recommendations in light of the discussion in the previous plenary session devoted to discussing the policy of the department and informing them of the recommendations submitted by the members of the Council at the end of the Council’s discussion of the department.

During its preparation of the recommendations, the committee affirmed the support of the Sharjah Consultative Council for the role of the department and municipalities in continuing to improve various services that affect the citizen and resident, as well as formulating recommendations that would complete all projects and meet the requirements of services for the residents of the Emirate of Sharjah.

At the end of the meeting, the Committee for Preparing the Draft Recommendations approved the formulation of a number of recommendations dealing with the work, tasks and specializations of the department in order to presenting them to the Consultative Council in its upcoming session for study and approval.
