Al-Osaimi stated a demonstration match for women will be conducted on June 13 during the event to promote wheelchair basketball and encourage women to play.
He noted that the organising committee had invited many local and international personalities, institutions, and sports bodies, including the president and members of the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation, representatives of the participating teams, and election candidates.
