Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri Decree regarding the annexation of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence Committee (SAEE CMTE) and the Sharjah Parents Councils to the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA).

The decree stipulates that the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence Committee and the Sharjah Parents councils will be attached to the Sharjah Private Education Authority as of the date of issuance of the decree.

All material and moral rights, obligations, and assets of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence Committee and the Sharjah Parents Councils shall be transferred to the Sharjah Private Education Authority. The staff of the Committee shall also be transferred to the SPEA with their grades and financial allocations. The SPEA shall have the right to propose amendments to the Award Committee in accordance with its organisational structure and its technical and administrative needs.
