'Alone at Home' debut show at SCRF will exceed all expectations

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) is pleased to present the highly anticipated theatrical production 'Alone at Home', which will be showing on the final evening of the festival on Sunday May 14th at 6pm. This comedic masterpiece produced by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) in collaboration with Nujum from the UAE and Kuwait's Panther Media Production has exceeded all expectations, leaving its viewers in fits of laughter and awe.
The ballroom of SCRF 2023 has been transformed into a vibrant theatre, where families and children gather to witness this much-anticipated debut show. The story follows two siblings, Noor and Fahad, who wake up to find themselves alone with a letter left by their parents, explaining their absence. Initially, the children think they will have fun, but things take a dramatic turn when a gang unexpectedly arrives at their doorstep and knocks on the door. The play unfolds through a series of scenes accompanied by amazing songs that weave through the storyline.

As the play builds up towards its climactic finale, a twist lies in wait, promising an exhilarating twist that will leave the audience astounded. What fate awaits Noor and Fahad? Will the gang members manage to get inside the house? Will their parents return in the nick of time? These are just a few of the questions that make the play intriguing, engaging and not to be missed.

The production features a talented cast of Emirati actors, including Deema Ahmed, Mohammed Jumaa, Abdullah Nabil, Saud Al Zarouni, and Kuwaiti actors Hanadi Al Kandari, Shouq Al Hadi, Mohammed Al Haddad, Ahmed bin Hussein, Malak Abu Zeid, and Jana Alfailakawi. These actors bring their A-game, providing a memorable experience for attendees of all ages.
