Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Technical Affairs and Talent Care Committee, leads the mission. Dr Lamia Ahmed Hamdan Al Zaabi, Head of the Strategy and Institutional Excellence Office, is also part of the group, along with coaching staff, administrators, and players from both teams.
The camp is built around a packed training schedule. The aim is simple: sharpen the players' technical and physical readiness through specialised sessions, and get them into the best possible shape before the season's sporting commitments begin.
Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi, chairman of the Board of Directors of Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, said the club was determined to give its teams the best preparation available. External camps, he said, offer a complete training environment. Players sharpen their abilities, pick up new experience, and come away better equipped.
These camps, he added, are one of the pillars of how the club prepares its teams. They provide players with the opportunity to train intensively and maintain complete focus, resulting in tangible improvements in their technical, physical, and mental skills. The club, he said, remains committed to backing its sports teams with everything they need to succeed.
Dr Luay Saeed Alai, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, said the camp sits within a wider plan to raise players' technical and physical standards. Training in advanced environments, he noted, sharpens performance and lifts the overall level of competition—something he sees as key to the club's ambitions for the coming season.
Al Hammadi, who is also leading the delegation, stated that the decision was based on the training environment and facilities. The Czech Republic, he explained, offers the advanced sporting infrastructure needed to run the technical programme as planned. He expects the camp to raise players' standards and deliver maximum technical benefit before official competitions begin.
The camp is one strand of Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled's build-up to the new season. The club aims to ensure its teams are in optimal condition for the upcoming championships. For athletic players specifically, it's also preparation for a run of international tournaments. The goal is straightforward: sharper, better-prepared athletes — and results that carry the UAE's name with pride on the international stage.
