The strategic goal of the department is to improve institutional work processes, instill a competitive spirit among employees, build their capacities, and qualify them for the best managerial practises followed regionally and globally.
The award is also meant to encourage employees to improve their job skills in line with the rapid development in the field of providing services to auditors, bolster their experience, and keep pace with modern systems in managing their career path, as well as raising awareness of the culture of excellence, quality, and transparency and making it an essential component in the work environment in the department.
The award process consists of four primary stages: first, an assessment of the current state of affairs; second, the development of the system and its launch; third, an evaluation of the participating files; and fourth, the determination of the winners, the announcement of the results, and the presentation of awards.
Those nominated can be recognised in one of eight different categories: "Excellent Management Award," "Excellent Work Team or Committee Award," "Institutional Innovation Award," "Excellent Employee Award in Administrative Field," "Excellent Employee Award in Supervisory Field," "Excellent Engineer Award," "Excellent Employee Award in Professional-Specialised Field," and "Excellent Employee Award in Knowledge Transfer."
