Sharjah24: Volunteers are crucial to the success of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF), according to Badr Mohammed Saab, Director of Government Communication at the Sharjah Book Authority.
He also emphasised the authority's plan to engage volunteers in the exhibitions and activities they oversee.
Mr Saab elaborated that the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival provided chances for volunteers in the form of registration, surveys, and the management of programmes and workshops.
He mentioned that helping out during the event would be a great experience to have when applying for jobs.
The Sharjah Volunteering Centre helped recruit 200 volunteers to aid in the festival's many activities. These individuals are important to the festival's success and get valuable experience in the course of their duties.
Mr Saab congratulated the festival's volunteers and urged people to attend the remaining activities over the next several days.
