Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) has created two symbolic characters, Salim and Salama, to deliver its many messages to youngsters. Salim and his sister Salama get to interact with children of their age through the department's publications, where they speak, draw, and have conversations with children their age.
During the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival's opening ceremony, the "I have rights too" booklet was unveiled. Health, safety, education, assistance, protection for children with special needs, and much more are all covered in detail as Salim and Salama educate youngsters on their rights.

The booklet has been created, as stated by the Director of Government Communications, Maha Al Ali, with the primary goal of bringing youngsters closer to the Department and introducing them to the responsibilities and rights they have towards their nation, religion, and society.

The booklet's competition questions are meant to be answered as part of educational workshops explaining children's rights and responsibilities in preparation for the Children's Reading Festival (CRF), an event specifically designed for children.

Horia Al Zarouni, the booklet's producer and a graphic designer, said, "The publication is divided into several sections that cover psychological, religious, national, family, educational, health, environmental, and entertaining aspects." These parts aid in character development by providing both educational and entertaining content for kids.
