Sharjah24: Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) has provided households with "Sanad" cards when they have enrolled in the city's Social Assistance Management programme.
Financial help, healthcare support, women's empowerment, child welfare, and support for people with special needs are just a few of the 15 beneficiary groups that can make use of the card's discounts and benefits.
Community Cohesion Department Director, Hessa Mohammed Al Hammadi says they plan to expand the number of enterprises that accept the Sanad card and have discounted arrangements with them.
This bank card, issued in conjunction with the Sharjah Islamic Bank, gives cardholders access to discounted services and products from affiliated companies in addition to their regular monthly stipend.
Since its introduction in 2017, the Sanad card has worked to improve the quality of life of those who receive it, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
