Sharjah 24: As part of its efforts to encourage students to read, research, and innovate, the Sharjah Libraries branch in Kalba recently hosted a student event, with five outstanding students sharing their stories, experiences, and achievements in various fields, and offering advice to their peers and attending parents.
The student speakers emphasised that their goal went beyond simply recounting their achievements, as they wanted to share their experiences with their peers and friends, and to motivate them to pursue their dreams and ambitions.
They also aimed to demonstrate that the world is full of enormous opportunities waiting for those who are willing to take advantage of them, and that reading, research, and innovation are keys to success and excellence. They stressed that high-achieving students are not isolated from reality, but rather, they are active participants in changing it.
At the end of the event, the participating students received recognition from school students and parents, who expressed their admiration for their stories and achievements, and shared their own opinions, discussions, and knowledge-based and life-based experiences about the challenges of education and future prospects.
They praised the role of the Sharjah Libraries in supporting their ambitions, enriching their knowledge, and encouraging them to excel and innovate.
