Sharjah24: The Suburban Councils of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs organised various initiatives and programs during the holy month of Ramadan, strengthening its social programs that promote community solidarity.
All suburban councils affiliated with the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs have launched more than 100 initiatives that targeted families in all cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, aiming to invite community members to participate in its programs that were held during Ramadan.
This comes within the framework of partnerships with various concerned institutions, and in line with the objectives of establishing suburban councils, translating the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Districts and Villages Affairs Department praised this distinguished package of programs that were organised throughout the holy month of Ramadan, including different cultural programs and community activities, aimed at spreading interconnections between individuals.
He stressed the importance of adopting such programs that enhance the Department’s objectives, supporting individuals and the community.
