This noteworthy initiative, launched by Abu Dhabi Police in collaboration with the "Abshir Ya Watan Volunteer Team," is aimed at distributing Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan to motorists at six different locations, including traffic signals and intersections. It is a part of the authority's overarching strategy to prioritise social responsibility, build trust and satisfaction among various segments of society, and promote a sense of happiness.
Sherifa Al Zarouni, the Director of the Zulal Water Factory, said that their participation in this initiative aligns with the authority's objectives to propagate the values of cooperation and compassion, which are at the core of our faith. She further praised the "Feed and Be Rewarded" initiative, which serves a dual purpose of providing meals for fasting drivers and reducing traffic accidents. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for volunteers to participate in activities that support the community.
