Sharjah24: Dr. Ahmed Al Zayat, a consultant in rheumatology and joint diseases at the University Hospital Sharjah (UHS), urged viewers in the latest episode of the health program "Healthy Messages" to adopt the positive habits that fasting during Ramadan encourages, such as reducing calorie intake, intermittent fasting, and exercising regularly.
He emphasised the importance of maintaining these habits after Ramadan, especially during Eid, when there tends to be an abundance of sweets and sugary treats, and continuing to practice intermittent fasting and exercise regularly, in addition to taking medication correctly.
