The annual bonus payment to owners of old taxi number plates used by the concession firms that fall under the Authority's responsibility has begun, and according to Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Jarwan, Director of SRTA for Transport Affairs, the total benefit is DH 4827.
As part of His Highness's keenness to follow up on citizens of Sharjah and their living conditions, including the owners of old vehicle number plates, Al Jarwan said, "This step is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and with the follow up of the Executive Council."
With the competent departments in the Authority willing to facilitate the procedures for obtaining the bonus without any obstacles, Al Jarwan explained that the bonus payment to the eligible owners is made after fulfilling all the requirements and following the instructions in this aspect. He also urged the owners of vehicle number plates who did not meet the conditions to quickly complete all the required papers and submit them to receive their dues, adding that they can contact the Authority at that number,600 525-2252, or at 0564 144 -667 to respond and answer all inquiries from taxi owners.
