Sharjah24: Brigadier General Ibrahim Al-Ajeel, Deputy Director General of Police Operations at the Sharjah Police General Command has highlighted the remarkable significance of the Ramadan dialogue sessions organised by the Sharjah Police, stressing that such sessions increase security awareness among the various segments of society.
The Eastern Region Police Department organised on Saturday its 2nd Ramadan discussion session for this year in the Khor Kalba Suburb Council, in the presence of Brigadier General Ibrahim Al-Ajeel, Deputy Director General of Police Operations at the Sharjah Police General Command, several dignitaries, and a crowd of officials and residents.
As part of his exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Brigadier General Ibrahim Al-Ajeel emphasised the keenness of the Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Eastern Region Police Department, to organise annually a series of dialogue sessions during the Holy month of Ramadan, discuss several security and societal topics.
He added that the program of sessions for this year includes 3 sessions in Khorfakkan, Kalba, and Dibba Al-Hisn, and the second session was in the city of Kalba, with the participation of a group of experts and specialists in the security field. He has further stressed that the sessions aim to enhance society's awareness of security aspects in several ways
Major Salem Khamis Al Mazrouei, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Branch at the Correctional and Punitive Institution has underscored the danger of electronic drug promotion, shedding light on the importance of parental supervision and strengthening family bonds.
